Greetings.

That seems to do the trick.

Thanks for your advice.
You have some other kind of login protection enabled on that site that is redirecting you.
I see there’s a plugin called “Limit Login Attempts“.
Could that be the culprit?
The first message you posted is related to my plugin redirecting you because your login page did not have the right key on it ….
Is the key you’re referring to the GOTMLS key?
If so, it’s definitely the right key since when I do finally get into the Dashboard I can see it in the GOTMLS “Anti-Malware” section.
… it may have been cached or you may have been on that page too long and the key had expired. I recommend refreshing your login page before attempting to login.
I don’t understand how a key can expire.
A bit confused about how this stuff works.
Anyway, I’ll try your suggestion next time I encounter this problem.
Thanks.

For instance: http:// … domain … /wp-login.php
… seems to not exist … or is pretending to not exist.
Error message is:
The (domain name) page isn’t working
(domain name) redirected you too many times.
Have written to my server provider about it, but wondering if it may in fact be a GOTMLS issue.
Thanks.

When I try and log in to some of my GOTMLS-enabled sites I sometimes get repeatedly shunted back and forth between the login page and this message:
You have been redirected here from (website link) which is protected by GOTMLS Anti-Malware
This can happen 3 or 4 times before I’m finally able to get into my Dashboard.
Wondering if this is supposed to happen or if it indicates some sort of problem.
Thanks.

Greetings.
My website – THINKERTOTHINKER.COM – is a WordPress multi-user (WPMU) site.
I’m a bit confused about how to use the Anti-Malware plugin with a WPMU site.
I’ve installed the plugin on the main site.
Should I now “network activate” it?
When the Anti-Malware software scans the parent domain and any malicious code is cleaned from the parent domain, does this also clean the malware from all the subdomains?
Thanks for any advice or assistance.

Melbourne, AustraliaGreetings.
Reporting that I did try Tim’s suggestion and it worked pretty well.
Since then, however, Eli has very generously assisted me with running deeper scans as my whole server — and every site on it — had become infected.
Great software & monumental support from the developer (Eli).

Reporting that this is no longer a problem.
Don’t know why, but now everything is working fine.

Greetings.
I ran a complete scan on both my computers and didn’t find any problems.
Also ran Norton Power Eraser.
Also had Norton chat support take over my computer and try to find a problem within my computer, but no luck.
In case it’s useful, here is a description of the issue from Norton:
http://www.symantec.com/security_response/attacksignatures/detail.jsp?asid=27090
I just visited one of my infected sites (but recently cleaned with the Anti-Malware program). As soon as I went to it, the Norton “mass injection” warning came up, saying it just blocked “Web Attack: Mass Injection Website 14″.

I’m a bit unclear about …
What exactly are those files that get listed under read/write errors?
Does the fact that they are read/write errors necessarily mean that they are problematic?
What should be done about them? Can they be ignored? Do they need to be investigated further? Should they simply be deleted? Here is an edited sample of one batch of files that came up as read/write errors during an anti-malware scan:
… /wp-content/plugins/contact-form-7/modules/really-simple-captcha4173.php
… /wp-content/plugins/contact-form-7/modules/select89993.php
…/wp-content/plugins/iwp-client/pclzip288d.php
…/wp-content/plugins/iwp-client/pclzip88d.php
… /wp-content/plugins/iwp-client/lib/cacert21f3d.php
…/wp-content/plugins/iwp-client/lib/dropbox192.php
…/wp-content/plugins/wp-front-end-editor/plugin7a24.phpAt a glance, is there anything about these files that arouses suspicion?
Is there anything I can read to help understand this issue better?
Thanks for any advice or help.

Melbourne, AustraliaFebruary 8, 2016 at 5:29 pm in reply to: [SOLVED] Failing or Timing-out? Automatically Fix SELECTED Files Now #1401Greetings Eli,
Thought I’d report that the automatic removal tool seems to be working well again.
I think you’re right, that the problem was with my server … which has been massively infected — to the point where it was slowing down.
It’s a nightmare, really.
My server provider (ServInt) has recommended I set up separate cPanels for each website in order to avoid sites infecting each other from within the server.
A massive hassle.
But some sites get re-infected after being cleaned, so I suppose I’m going to have to bite the bullet and follow their suggestion.

Dear Eli,
Thanks for getting back to me.
This looks like a warning about a threat on your localhost, are you running a webserver on your PC?
No. I don’t even know what that is, actually.
Can you tell me what that is, please?
You should scan your local machine for viruses.
So, you mean that this Norton warning isn’t from the websites?
But, if that’s the case, isn’t it odd that it only appears when I go to one of my websites?
Any further thoughts on that?
In any case, I’ll certainly run a complete Norton scan on my PC, just to be on the safe side.
Thanks.

PRODOS
