    Definition updates I release whenever a new threat is discovered that is not already detected by one of my current definition patterns. This is sometime more than once per day and sometimes it could be a week or more between updates.

    The plugin code is only updated when changes are needed to maintain version compatibility or if there is a new bug fix or a new feature to release. This is usually less often than the definition updates, maybe about every 2 to 5 months.

    I am working on a new scan engine that will make it possible to schedule automatic scans at regular intervals, but because this is not possible with the scan engine in the current plugin I am testing this new development under a separate add-on that I will try to integrate once the Beta testing is complete.

    No need to remove the prior registration for the old URL, just register the new key for the Secure URL under the same email address and it will all be on one account 😉
