I’ve been using Anti-Malware for years and I appreciate your work, Eli. Our site recently got hit with that SEO pharma Viagra/Cialis redirect hack that only triggered when clicking on a Google search link. I ran the scanner and it found a few infected files. But I also found the htaccess file that was triggering the redirect and fixed it. I decided to upgrade to premium to check for core files because I fear there are still lingering infections.
My question is about the automatic download of new definitions. Does this mean the scanner will also automatically run after the definition file is downloaded without me having to login and initiate the scan? Thank you and keep up the great work!
For now the actual Scanning process requires and active browser window to remain open for the scan to progress. I have been working on an automated scan feature that could be schedule like a cron job just that requires re-designing the whole scan engine and that is taking longer that I would have hoped. I will let you know when this new scheduled scan feature is ready for testing.
