Greetings.
Even after running the Anti-Malware scan, many of my sites get a Norton warning.
Here is a screenshot:

I think the warning appears the moment I log in to the WordPress Dashboard. But maybe I’m imagining this.
Any advice on this would be appreciated.
Thanks.

This looks like a warning about a threat on your localhost, are you running a webserver on your PC?
You should scan your local machine for viruses.
Dear Eli,
Thanks for getting back to me.
This looks like a warning about a threat on your localhost, are you running a webserver on your PC?
No. I don’t even know what that is, actually.
Can you tell me what that is, please?
You should scan your local machine for viruses.
So, you mean that this Norton warning isn’t from the websites?
But, if that’s the case, isn’t it odd that it only appears when I go to one of my websites?
Any further thoughts on that?
In any case, I’ll certainly run a complete Norton scan on my PC, just to be on the safe side.
Thanks.

Greetings.
I ran a complete scan on both my computers and didn’t find any problems.
Also ran Norton Power Eraser.
Also had Norton chat support take over my computer and try to find a problem within my computer, but no luck.
In case it’s useful, here is a description of the issue from Norton:

I just visited one of my infected sites (but recently cleaned with the Anti-Malware program). As soon as I went to it, the Norton “mass injection” warning came up, saying it just blocked “Web Attack: Mass Injection Website 14″.

Ok, Well if your PC is clean then maybe it some malware on your site that is trying to redirect you to localhost. In that case then the Norton warning you are getting should stop when we get your site clean
Dear Eli,
Thanks for your comment … and optimism!
