    Quick note:

     

    Version 1.3.05.31 got mls failed to install, wordpress on godaddy, manually removed mls folder via ftp, installed again. WordPress version 3.5.1

    Works now.

    I should have said, failed to update. The the plugin then disappeared from plugin list, and I had to manually remove it via ftp because installing over the top said the directory exists.

    Aloha Rob,
    This can happen whenever WordPress fails to remove a plugin directory. You did the right thing by removing the folder manually.

    this happened to me but I don’t know how to find the directory to manually remove it. Where do I look?
